Buckle up for a 7th ride!

You’ve been waiting for it. You’ve been asking about it. Now it’s here:
The 7th edition of the European Startup Prize will kick off in Lisbon

We’re excited to launch our new programme on 14 April, live from the Unicorn Stage in Lisbon, under the patronage of Lisbon Mayor & Former Commissioner, Carlos Moedas (TBC).
This moment will officially mark the opening of applications for this year’s edition.

Applications will be open from 14 April until 12 June 2026.

A Lux Touch for the 7th Edition

The 7th edition gets a Lux upgrade as we join forces with Technoport’s Automobility Incubator and Luxinnovation. Together, we will also host the Award Ceremony on 14 October, during the Luxembourg Venture Days.
Luxembourg brings more than a location: it offers a fast-track to Europe, real-life mobility testbeds, and an ecosystem designed to help startups scale. Expect European leaders, top VCs — and the next 10 mobility winners. Could one of them be you?

Acceleration powered by TUM Venture Labs

This year’s Acceleration Programme of the European Startup Prize for Mobility will be run by our co-founder TUM Venture Labs, part of the entrepreneurial engine of the Technical University of Munich.

What winners will get:

Winners of our 7th edition will benefit from a comprehensive acceleration programme, including:

  • Structured mentoring by experienced entrepreneurs, investors, and industry experts
  • Thematic workshops on business development, fundraising, internationalisation, regulatory frameworks, and impact measurement
  • Access to TUM Venture Labs’ innovation, research, and entrepreneurial ecosystem
  • High-level visibility and networking opportunities across the European mobility and innovation landscape

Through direct access to top scientists, industry leaders, and investors, founders are supported from early validation through to building scalable, high-impact mobility ventures.

A world-class innovation environment

Embedded within one of Europe’s leading research-driven innovation hubs and closely integrated with the Technical University of Munich, the programme connects cutting-edge research with entrepreneurship — and the wider Munich startup ecosystem.
