EcoMotion Side Event of the European Startup Prize for Mobility

May 24, 2023

From 18.30 to 20.30

CitiZone, Tel Aviv

Israelis sometimes associate themselves with Europe when it comes to culture and sports but less with business, for which they turn to the US. And yet, in many ways Europe should be the go-to market, being the largest economy in the world, Israel’s largest trading partner, and thanks to the various European R&D programmes which include Israel. Like all things European, it may seem intimidating and unreachable at first; but once acquainted, Europe reveals itself with its diversity, wealth, and endless opportunities. It has the power to make your Israel startup a unicorn!

As part of this year’s EcoMotion Week, the European Startup Prize for Mobility is inviting Israel’s smart mobility community to an official EcoMotion Side Event, dedicated at how Israelis can make it big in the European market. We will be joined by major Israeli players; OurCrowd, KPMG Israel, Maniv Mobility, and the EU Delegation to Israel. Together we will discuss the opportunities for Israeli startups in Europe, and the European Startup Prize for Mobility in particular.

The European Startup Prize for Mobility (EUSP), co-founded by Karima Delli, Via ID and the Boston Consulting Group, is Europe’s largest acceleration programme for clean mobility startups. It brings together all major EU institutions (European Commission, European Parliament, European Investment Bank, EIT Urban Mobility, Europe’s Rail), some of Europe’s largest corporations (BCG, Europcar Mobility Group, Credit Agricole Auto Bank, Group RATP, Group ADP, Roland Berger, Volta Trucks), national authorities (GRDF, VNF, Die Autobahn), and philanthropies (European Climate Foundation). Every year, this entire ecosystem identifies, ranks and boosts Europe’s most promising startups in clean mobility, offering massive visibility, investment opportunities, access to policy-makers, business consultancy, and mentoring. And yes, when we say Europe, we also include Israeli startups!

EUSP is taking startup applications for its 5th edition until 20/6/23.
